We recently received a Vero Moda dress, in which I could waste away my whole summer! The dress features a faded sleeveless denim top, contrasted by a light weight floral skirt. Casual, fun and comfy? Check, check, check. As I gazed hopelessly in love at the new arrival, I began to have flashbacks to the 90’s. Faded denim? Floral? Instantly I saw characters from Friends, Seinfeld, and 90210 sporting my new favorite Spring 2011 dress!

So how can we make sure we look 90210 circa Shenae Grimes rather than Shannen Doherty?

Two decades ago we would have paired this dress with Doc Martens and a deep plum lipstick. So make sure to keep your accessories current! Try this dress with a pair of wedge heels and coral lipstick (Love this trend!). Also, adding a sun hat, geek-chic glasses, and a masculine watch is a quick and easy way to keep up to date!
