New Horrible Bosses clip released

Colin Farrell in Horrible Bosses
Ever felt like killing your boss? Well these three guys have! (That has to be how they opened the pitch for this one). New comedy Horrible Bosses on its way
So far, ’s TV directing work has somewhat outshone what he’s achieved on the big screen. With episodes of Parks & Recreation, Modern Family, Community and The Office under his directing belt, it’s
probably kinder to forget the likes of Four Christmases.
This summer though, could he be set to even the balance with new comedy Horrible Bosses? Starring Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day alongside their titular horrible bosses Colin Farrell and , Horrible Bosses is about a trio of fed-up employees attempting to get their evil employers whacked. Jamie Foxx also stars as a murder consultant whose character name you should definitely look up on IMDB. I’m not saying it, my mum might be reading this.
Interestingly for fans of Paul Feig (another top telly comedy director who also made the leap into film with this year’s excellent Bridesmaids), Horrible Bosses’ script is co-written by John Francis Daley, the actor who played Sam Weir in Feig’s superlative teen series Freaks and Geeks. So Horrible Bosses boasts a director and at least one writer with first-hand experience of how brilliant comedy is made. Let’s hope it shines through.
Horrible Bosses is released in the UK on Friday 22nd July. Watch the second trailer and first clip by clicking the link below.
