Jennifer's Got Talent...according to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres

Former Friends actress  proved she's not just a pretty face when she appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show.
The 40-year-old star was asked to sing live on the show after she revealed that she will exercise her vocal cords in a forthcoming film.
Ellen, who is Paula Abdul's replacement on American Idol, managed to persuade Jennifer to perform - after she initially protested.

After dimming the lights and handing Jennifer a microphone, Ellen asked the actress what she would sing.
To which Aniston replied: 'I've Got A Crush On You.'

 

She then launched into the chorus of the song, which became more of a serenade than a solo performance.
When Jennifer finished her short performance Ellen, 51, told her: 'I would put you through to the next round.

I've Got A Crush On You has been performed by Frank Sinatra and 1930s jazz singer Lee Wiley, and although Jennifer's version was not quite up there with such legends, it was passable considering she was taken by surprise.
Aniston faced further embarrassment when she took part in a quiz in which she had to guess whose lips she had kissed.
She was shown a series of lips up close, and had to guess which of her co-stars they belonged to.

After correctly guessing Owen Wilson and Gerard Butler, she floundered with long-term Friends co-star David Schwimmer and Aaron Eckhart, who she stars with in new romantic drama Love Happens.
Meanwhile the 41-year-old actor denied the couple had an on-set romance while shooting the film, but admitted she was a good kisser.
Eckhart appeared on the The Late Show With Conan O'Brien, and revealed: 'I thought we had a nice chemistry, she was wonderful to work with, beautiful, a wonderful actress as well and a good kisser.'
He added: 'I'm getting pressure from the press. When you're promoting a new movie they want to know if you've slept with your co-star, which I have not.'

In a recent joint interview for a magazine, Miss Aniston told Miss Kidman: ‘Physically, you’re a masterpiece.’

Miss Kidman replied: ‘Excuse me, you wear a bikini in the film and you look like you’re 20 years old.’

Miss Aniston, who is divorced from Brad Pitt, said she had been single for 18 months and was ‘very happy’. Miss Kidman has two children with husband Keith Urban and two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

And both ladies looked effortlessly glamorous at the screening of the film. Jennifer slipped into a strapless, floor-length black gown by Dolce & Gabbana which was split to the thigh and offered a tantalising glimpse of her toned legs.

Nicole, meanwhile, who was accompanied by Urban, went for a double leather look in a skirt and blazer by her favourite designer L'Wrenn Scott.
The 43-year-old added a demure blush-coloured shirt beneath and a pair of strappy black heels.

Both actresses went for understated, elegant looks while their younger co-star Brooklyn Decker celebrated her film debut with an eye-catching leopard-print dress.

The swimsuit model poured her curves into the sexy Dolce & Gabanna frock, which she teamed with purple heels.
Jennifer recently interviewed Nicole for Harper's Bazaar magazine, where the women gushed over each other's figures.

Nicole retorts: 'Excuse me, you wear a bikini in the film and you look like you're 20 years old.'

'I think that's Vaseline on the lens,' Jennifer says.
'You are a freak of nature,' Nicole says. 'You have the best body I've ever seen. And I'm a heterosexual girl. You look good morning, noon, and night.'
In an interview with Access Hollywood earlier this month, Adam Sandler also complimented his co-stars' bikini bodies.

He said of Jennifer's: 'It’s a beautiful, beautiful thing. Jennifer works hard, she eats right, you know, she does.
'She never snacks on the stuff I snack on,' Sandler said.

Adam also had good things to say about Nicole's figure: 'She’s in ridiculous shape too.'
Jennifer added: 'Have you ever seen a six-pack like that?” I actually had to touch it.'

Kidman puts in an eye-catching supporting role as the extremely competitive arch-nemesis.
The movie, which was filmed in Hawaii last year, is Sports Illustrated model Decker's first feature film.

Aniston's actions came a few months after Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife Maria Shriver was caught red-handed driving while on her mobile.
Los Angeles has enforced a state-wide ban on using mobile phones while driving since July 2008.
It carries a fine of $20 on the first conviction and $50 on the second, not including penalties.
Clearly an important call that just couldn't wait. But any fine will be pocket change to a star of Aniston's calibre, but embarrassing nonetheless.

Meanwhile, it has emerged that the actress's former husband, Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie will not be attending the Golden Globe Awards.
According to reports, the reason they are avoiding the awards is because Pitt, 46, has not been nominated for his role in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.
'They're not going because he's not nominated individually, Inglourious Basterds is, but not him,'  Jolie's stylist, Jen Rade told E! News.
But other sources claim the two do not want to risk running into Pitt's ex-wife, actress who is expected to attend the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on January 17.

Pitt's manager has confirmed the actor will not be there.
Today it was announced Brad and Angelina's charitable foundation is contributing $1 million to the emergency medical operation responding to the devastating 7.0-magnitude quake in Haiti.
Pitt said in a statement: 'We understand the first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care.'

Reunited Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer take it slow... with a romantic weekend spa break

is making the most of her time with beau John Mayer after the couple reunited earlier this month.
The reunited pair spent the weekend at a spa hotel in Arizona before returning to the Sunset Towers hotel in Hollywood.
Jennifer emerged looking suitably refreshed and content before driving off in Mayer's car.

Jennifer, 39, and musician John, 31, are said to be 'taking things slow' as they attempt to put their relationship back together after breaking up in August following an intense summer romance.
According to Star magazine, the couple spent a romantic weekend together at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley.
They stayed at a private home within the resort that that costs $4000 a night and comes with a home cinema, outdoor Jacuzzi and flagstone fireplace.

A source told The Star: 'Their hideaway was tucked into the mountains and was so private that you couldn't even see the driveway from the street. Once they checked in, the couple was never seen leaving their home.'

While at the spa the couple spent their days soaking up the sun by the side of their private pool, and enjoyed intimate meals brought in from the spa's award-winning restaurant.

Jennifer and John arrived back in Los Angeles on Monday and were seen dining at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Intriguingly, it is the same restaurant where Jennifer was seen dining with Scottish actor Gerard Butler.

Earlier this month, Aniston spoke publicly about her feelings for Mayer, describing his as 'extraordinary'.
Jennifer, 39, and John, 31, resumed their relationship in November - three months after the singer announced he had dumped the actress following their brief four month romance.
The singer was left looking ungentlemanly when he claimed he dumped Jennifer during a video interview in August.
He said: 'Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth...
'There's no lying, there's no cheating. There's no nothing. People are different, they have different chemistry, they have different lives.
