Jennifer Aniston appears in the new issue of Allure, the magazine that is now the top contender for our Why Would You Do That award. With her wig hair, plastic face, and infantile get-up, she might as well get postscript supporting actor credit for Lars and the Real Girl.

The interview is mildly interesting, in that she reveals that she hated the Rachel haircut: ""Let's just say there have been moments I'd rather not relive, like that whole Rachel thing.
I love Chris [McMillan, her hairstylist], and he's the bane of my existence at the same time because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look. How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I've ever seen." Better than wig hair though, Jen. BETTER THAN WIG HAIR.

Jennifer Aniston Wavy Hairstyle

Jennifer Aniston Wavy Hairstyle
With a look like Jennifer Aniston’s wavy hairstyle, you can see that you do not always have to fuss with and style your hair for hours just to be presentable.
In fact, with her almost wash and wear waves, Jennifer looks more youthful than ever.

jennifer aniston wavy hairstyle

Of course, you will find it easiest to mimic Jennifer’s wavy hairstyle if you also have natural waves, however, with some styling product and a curling iron or hot rollers, you too can achieve this Jennifer Aniston wavy hairstyle.
Jennifer Aniston’s wavy hairstyle goes a very long way in erasing the myth that mature women should not wear their locks long.
If you have a beautiful face shape like Jennifer does, and your hair is healthy, there is no reason you can not have flowing tresses regardless of your age.

style steps hairstyles for older women
Wash your hair with products created for your own particular hair type
Use your fingers to apply a palmful of styling mousse throughout your damp hair, and then detangle with a wide tooth comb
With the edge of your comb, working from your forehead back, create a center part
Blow dry using a diffuser, working in small sections. Scrunch and tousle your hair gently as your drying to promote your natural waves
Once dry, rub some styling serum between your palms and smooth your hands gently over your hair to control fly away strands
If your locks are not naturally wavy, when your hair is dry, use a large barrelled curling iron, working again in small sections, rolling into a ringlet shape around your head
When your hair is fully curled, comb through gently with your fingers to separate and allow waves to form
Follow with the styling serum step and mist with a light hold hairspray to help your waves stay in place

Jennifer Aniston Talks Love Life

Jennifer Aniston poked fun at her love life on Friday when she accepted the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film.

Host Chelsea Handler presented the award to Jen and first made this funny: “You have increased the visibility of women in film, and we thank you for that. You’ve recently decreased the visibility of John Mayer, so we thank you for that.”

Aniston then joked, “I’m trying to be more careful than I have been in the past about the titles of movies that I choose to be in. It’s funny – I kind of noticed something a couple years ago that there seemed to be this strange parallel to the movies I was doing and my life off screen.”

“It started with, well, The Good Girl,” she explained. “Then that evolved into Rumor Has It, followed by Derailed, and then there was The Break-Up. And then on the lighter side was Friends with Money, which I felt was a bit on the nose. So if any of you have a project titled Everlasting Love with an Adult, Stable Male… that would be great! I’m at table six, and my agents are at table 12.”

Jennifer Aniston Makes Selena Gomez Run Away
Selena Gomez has always been and will always be obsessed with the Friends franchise, especially Rachel (Jennifer Aniston).

Yesterday afternoon, the 16-year-old actress dished to JustJaredJR.com all about her run-in (and run-away) with Aniston at Friday’s Women In Film 2009 Crystal And Lucy Awards!

“I was shaking!” Selena told JustJaredJR. “I ran into Jennifer in the bathroom and she goes, ‘Hi!’ My legs started to shake and I ran. I didn’t know what to do because I freaked out. I always say that I worship Rachel McAdams as a movie actress but for comedy — the whole reason I started my show and mannerisms, they were after Jennifer Aniston. It was so funny, they were playing clip reels of the work she’s done and I quoted the whole thing. Every single thing she’d say, I would say it. People were sitting there laughing at me and they’re like, ‘Wow, you’re obsessed.’ I freaked out, but I was happy she got the [Crystal] Award.”

FYI: Yesterday, People hosted a sneak peek of Selena’s Disney Channel movie, Princess Protection Program, which will air next Friday (June 26).

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer
Will true love blossom between ladies man John and unlucky in love Jennifer? Vote on whether they should hitch or ditch.
Hitch: Everyone wants a happy ending for unlucky in love Jen but is John Mayer the one to give it to her?
They've already holidayed together and been papped snuggling up to each other.
The gorgeous couple have reportedly been seeing each other in secret for three months and decided to go public once they realised it was serious.
Jennifer has also claimed that singer Mayer is better in bed than her ex Brad Pitt. Always a deal-clincher.
Ditch: Let's face it - how the hell are we supposed to come up with a proper joint moniker for this couple? Johnifer? Jenn? Hmm... It just doesn't work.
Ladies man John is already reportedly tiring of what he describes as a "summer fling" while Aniston is clinging on to the hope that it is a proper relationship.
He's left a trail of broken hearts in his wake including those of Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson and Jessica Love Hewitt. Will Jen's be next?

Jennifer Aniston Fragrance Review

Jennifer Aniston's Perfume Is Beachy Clean

The ad campaign images for Jennifer Aniston's eponymous fragrance feature her seated on a rocky tor just beyond the ocean, looking fresh from a dip and warmed only by a beige beach towel. The photos are lovely, but I didn't expect just how literally they'd convey what her celebrity fragrance smells like. I recently wore the EDP for a full day, so to see whether this beach baby was good, just keep reading.

‘Lazy’ has been the word of choice thrown around when talking about Warner Bros. latest comedy “Horrible Bosses,” and quite frankly I agree.  That word should be used to describe many movies this year, with studios lining up A-list stars, 3D visuals, or promises of raunchy, fun humor – only to take your money and leave you with an “it was fine” reaction.  “Horrible Bosses” is continuing this taking advantage of movie fans trend by over promising and under delivering.

The Break-Up

  The Break-Up

The Break-Up is ironic on so many levels. First, it stars Jennifer Aniston, a woman who went through a very public break-up of her own recently with now x-husband Brad Pitt. Second, Aniston and Vince Vaughn's characters in the movie are going through a messy split, however this movie is actually responsible for bringing the two actors together in a real-life romance.
Wow, that's a lot of baggage for one movie to carry. (Reminding anyone else of the post break up Bennifer, Gigli situation?)
But putting aside all the tabloid gossip, The Break-Up is really just about a relationship going down the tubes. It's an anti-romantic comedy, if you will, and it's a solid one at that.
The comedy flows out of the movie's fearless portrayal of the way relationships really are: imperfect, messy, and sometimes downright ugly.

JENNIFER Aniston has revealed going topless in her latest movie was not a problem after the nudity she had seen on her latest movie beforehand.
Aniston, 43, said by the time she had to do her naked scenes on Wanderlust she had seen so much nudity on set that she didn't give a thought.
"You do get nervous when there's a day where it's oops, I'm naked," Aniston, who met her real-life boyfriend, Justin Theroux, 40, on set. The pair got together in May last year after filming was complete.

'The Switch' movie review: Jennifer Aniston stars in cliched 'donor-daddy' comedy

"The Switch" movie review: If you’ve been watching the cable yakkers lately, you know that the new Jennifer Aniston film “The Switch” — the second donor-daddy comedy this summer — has come under fire for supposedly endorsing the single-parent-by-choice lifestyle.
Which is dangerous because, you know, Aniston is such a role model for our youth.
The controversy all sounds a little bit like “Murphy Brown 2.0” to me. But actually, that’s not the only familiar thing about “The Switch.” The truly dusty cliché it drags out again is the cute couple who don’t, you know, think-of-each-other-like-that.
Until, of course, they do.
There are a lot of movie standbys I don’t care for (the cut-to-pet-for-a-reaction-shot is another one — and that’s here too), but the I-never-saw-you-this-way-before one always felt awfully contrived. (The reason this guy is a non-starter? He wears ugly sweaters. Next!)
And that gimmick is all this movie has.

Jennifer Aniston Hates The Rachel, or, Axl Rose Was Touched by a Hippie

So last week, Jennifer Aniston finally said it – the one thing that could say that would allow me to respect her. She HATED the RACHEL HAIRCUT. Jen told Alure Magazine not only that she’s not terribly fond of the cut. In fact, she says “I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen.”

Harsh.
Now that it’s out in the open, I think that she probably feels the same relief that I do. What a horrible haircut it was, and what a horrible legacy it’s left for the women of America, with their stupid multi-colored bouncy layer cuts.

There are certainly worse signature haircuts.

Little Known Facts: Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston, one of the most successful women in Hollywood. But did you know some of the insignificant but interesting facts of her life? Here are some of them worth knowing.

1. When she was 11, one of Jennifer's paintings was placed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

2. Jen offered to be Matthew Perry's personal trainer in 2002 to help him lose weight.

3. In high school, Jen was known as the class clown.

Famous Stars in Their Most Embarrassing Roles [PHOTOS]

Before they were the A-list stars they are today, many actors had to take some not-so-ideal roles just to put themselves on the map.
Tom Cruise in "Legend"

Before he was jumping on couches and preaching about Scientology, Tom Cruise was a well respected actor known for his badass roles in films such as "Mission Impossible" and "Top gun". What Tom doesn't usually mention is one of his earlier roles in this rather cheesy 1985 fantasy film about a forest boy and his elven friends as they try to save his fairy princess and prevent the Lord of Darkness from destroying daylight.

Jen gained worldwide recognition for her role as Rachel Green in the hit sitcom, "Friends". She's best known as one of the best dressed in Hollywood, as well as for having famously gorgeous locks that created a "Rachel Hair" frenzy back in the 90's. Still deemed as one of the hottest women in Hollywood, Jen Aniston always maintains a flawless look and demeanour. However, back in 1993 Jen was found in a not-so-flattering role in a not-so-well-received horror movie about a deranged leprechaun on a killing spree in attempts to get back his gold. Nevertheless, the movie DID manage to put her on the map and may have been a good stepping stone for her career.

Arnold has indeed gone a long way from bodybuilding to serving as the 38th governor of California. He's certainly the type who knows how to direct his energies to fulfil his passions as he has been successful in almost everything he's dabbled at. However his first lead role as an actor was one that Arnold himself admittedly regrets. In the 1969 fantasy film, "Hercules in New York", he plays Hercules who comes to earth and eventually starts a career in bodybuilding.

Did You Know' with Jennifer Aniston

Did you know that Jennifer Aniston's godfather was Telly Savalas, television's Kojak? That reminds me -- from now on I would like to be referred to as "Television's Ellen."

In the '90s, Jennifer's hairstyle, "The Rachel," was a huge fashion trend. Before that, the only TV hairstyle women could ask for by name was, "The Uncle Jesse."

Jennifer is a great friend and I loved having her on the show this week.

Jennifer Aniston’s New Hair

So Jennifer Aniston, queen of covetable hairstyles, has gone and chopped her locks off again! What do you guys think? The light bob or her beachy long waves? I loooooved her long flowy hair – it always looked perfectly styled and natural at the same time.
And just for kicks, here’s a picture of what will forever be called, “The Rachel.” I remember how cool it was back in the 90s, but how does this layered ‘do fair today? Word has it that Jen hates that hairstyle!

The Rachel rules

"I did this haircut a million times," Decuers says. "I remember loving it, because it flattered a lot of face shapes, and you could do it shorter or longer." For an update that has this cut's flirty, fun vibe (sadly, bringing back the original would just look way too dated), ask your stylist for these key ingredients:

Step 1: Ask for a cut with long, allover layers. They'll give your hair movement and fullness on top, which were two key benefits of having The Rachel. Also important: a front angle that starts from the lips, down. They'll frame your face.
Step 2: Get face-framing highlights a la Jennifer Aniston -- they should be more subtle now, with less contrast between the lighter streaks and your base color.
Step 3: At home, blow dry your lovely layered cut with a round brush (or flip your head upside down) so hair has volume at the crown.
